After singers Gims and Dadju who play in France, Belgian-American actor Jean-Claude Van Damme received his diplomatic passport in Kinshasa on Wednesday.
The movie star completed a stay of about a week in the Congolese capital meeting various personalities from the world of entertainment and politics.
With his Congolese passport, the Congolese authorities entrusted him with the mission of selling a positive image of the country and much more.

Smiling, tight-fitting T-shirt, bulging muscles, Jean-Claude Van Damme said he was proud to receive his diplomatic passport.
Three missions are assigned to it, including that of being an ambassador for sport and culture.
The star will also put her success and her aura at the service of the protection of Congolese forests.

This theme is part of the new diplomatic narrative of the DRC, which wants to put the climate issue at the heart of discussions with various international partners.
The DRC, which presents itself as a country-solution to climate issues, has also obtained the organization of the preparatory meeting for COP 27.
With his Congolese passport, Jean-Claude Van Damme also wants to help the country attract more investors, particularly in the agricultural sector.
