It is Sunday that France votes for the first round of the presidential election!

This week, all the candidates are throwing their last strength into battle.

And especially during large meetings supposed to mobilize their base, and perhaps beyond.

Emmanuel Macron of course had his mega-meeting at La Défense on Saturday, but Nathalie Arthaud was not left out at the Zénith, Philippe Poutou and Anne Hidalgo at the Cirque d'hiver (but not the same day, let's specify) or Valérie Pécresse at the Porte de Versailles.

Jean-Luc Mélenchon released his holograms again to be in twelve cities at the same time on Tuesday.

This is the first point of this 18th presidential “Recap” of

20 Minutes

on video.

Also, this week, despite his meeting on Saturday, Emmanuel Macron again stood out for his campaign in freelance mode.

He also chooses his passages in the media while the rule of equal speaking time in the media obliges TV channels and radio stations to invite everyone.

He notably shunned France 2 and its program “Elysée 2022”.

Télérama understands that it is because he does not like interviews with Anne-Sophie Lapix…

Finally, just three days before the first round, it's time to ask the right questions: who will be in the second round?

Obviously, there is no answer in this Recap but we have tried to go around the main uncertainties that reign before Sunday...
