The Taiwan authorities' education department released the latest statistics on the morning of the 7th. A total of 14 counties and 128 schools in Taiwan have suspended classes or some classes. Classes are suspended.

  Taiwan's education authority said that a total of 128 schools were closed on April 6, including New Taipei City, Taipei City, Taichung City, Taoyuan City, Keelung City, Changhua County, Kaohsiung City, Yilan County, Hsinchu City, Hsinchu County, Taitung County, 14 counties and cities including Hualien County, Pingtung County and Tainan City.

  The above-mentioned suspended schools include 9 kindergartens, 51 primary schools, 14 junior high schools, 18 high schools, and 36 colleges and universities.

Depending on the infection status of teachers and students, the entire school, some classes, or online teaching may be suspended.

  According to the current suspension standards of Taiwan's education authorities, if one teacher or student in a school below high school is diagnosed, the entire class will be suspended; if more than two teachers and students in the school are diagnosed (cross-class infection), the entire school will be suspended.

If 1 teacher or student in a college or university is diagnosed, the courses they are taking (teaching) will be suspended; if 2 teachers and students are diagnosed, the school (campus) will be suspended.

Classes will be suspended for 10 days, and counties and cities may have stricter regulations, including preventive measures.
