According to data submitted to the National Assembly by Prime Minister Candidate Han Deok-soo, the total amount of assets is 8.25 billion won.

The most notable are deposits.

One candidate had about 3.2 billion won and a spouse owned about 5.15 billion won, including 1.9 billion won.

In 2012, when I was last in public office before appointing a prime minister, I reported a deposit of 2.5 billion won while serving as the ambassador to the United States, and it increased by 2.6 billion won in 10 years.

Another candidate reported that he received a total of 1.97 billion won while serving as an advisor at Kim & Chang Law Firm for 4 years and 4 months from December 2017 after resigning from public office.

He also served as the president of the Korea International Trade Association for three years and as an outside director of S-OIL for one year, and received a salary.

As for real estate, we own a three-story detached house of 550 square meters in Jongno-gu, Seoul, and 5,100 square meters of forest in the area of Unyeon-dong, Namdong-gu, Incheon in the name of the spouse.

Over the past 10 years, the value of houses increased by 1.1 billion won, from 1.4 billion won in 2012 to 2.5 billion won in 2012, and the value of forest land increased by 13 million won during the same period.

Taken together, a candidate's fortune has doubled from 4 billion won to 8.2 billion won in 10 years, and the process of property increase seems to be a key issue in the personnel hearings.

In particular, the Democratic Party foretold a thorough verification of the nature of the remuneration received from the private sector, where the controversy over high salaries arose.

[Min Hyeong-bae / Democratic Party Personnel Hearing TF Director: Our Democratic Party will thoroughly verify the standards of the people and according to the will of the people.] According

to the Personnel Hearings Act, the hearing procedure, including a hearing for up to three days and a vote in the National Assembly, will be held in the coming months. It must be completed by the 26th.
