Contest La India triumphs in a Miss Universe marked by politics and the pandemic
Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu
rose to fame last December when she won the Miss Universe crown.
The young woman of Indian origin has since held the band that accredits her as
the most beautiful woman,
although this has unexpected consequences such as
criticism of her for her physique
that she has received in recent weeks.
She all started after
parading at the Lakmé Fashion Week
in her native country.

After days enduring all kinds of speculation about her life and her body, the Miss has chosen to be honest with her followers
through Twitter,
from where she has revealed
the health problem
she suffers from and that has caused that
abdominal swelling
that so many have dared to judge without having any idea what it could be.
"About 10-30% of the world's population suffers from
food allergies.
I have a
gluten
allergy that is common and can be linked to a large proportion of people around the world, which can be controlled simply by eliminating certain food groups of the diet. Thank you for understanding."

But the beauty queen has gone further, and has confessed in statements to PTI that "a lot of people don't know that I'm allergic to gluten. I'm one of those people who were first intimidated
saying that 'she's too skinny'
and now I they
intimidate saying
'she's fat'.
Nobody knows about my celiac disease. That I can't eat wheat flour and many other things".
A more than understandable reproach that she has continued on social networks, where she has shown her position by ensuring that
"the shape of your mind is more important than the shape of your body"
