  • Spain And in the third year, he was resurrected: this is how Holy Week will be throughout Spain

The

weather

for

Holy Week

is variable in almost the entire country, with a

more unstable and rainy start

before giving way, starting on

Good Friday

, to very

sunny

days with clearly rising temperatures.

As usual, the weather at Easter will be "variable", Rubén del Campo, spokesman for the

State Meteorological Agency

(AEMET), has advanced, pointing out that there will be changes over the next few days.

Thus,

this Friday and Saturday

, and after a few very wintery days, a

stable environment

will dominate, in general, with temperatures typical of the time in large areas of the country, although the

Diego storm

, named by the French Meteorological Agency, will leave strong

gusts of wind, rain

and intense maritime storm in Galicia and in the Cantabrian communities.

On

Sunday

a day with stable weather and no precipitation is expected;

however, and even with uncertainty, the approach of an

Atlantic front to the western end

could leave precipitation that will mainly affect the surroundings of Galicia.

Regarding temperatures, Del Campo has indicated that this holiday,

Palm Sunday

, temperatures will suffer a significant rise in the interior of the peninsula of up to 8 degrees and "extraordinary" with 10 degrees above normal in points of the Bay of Biscay.

The

maximum

will rise to

27 and 28 degrees in Seville

and Córdoba, 26 degrees in Toledo, 25 degrees in Ourense, 23 degrees in Valladolid and 22 degrees in Madrid, Del Campo has specified.

Next week

As of Monday

, the arrival of a very active front will leave

rains that will sweep the peninsula from west to east

, barely reaching the Mediterranean, accompanied by a

"notable" drop in temperatures,

which in many areas will mean a drop of up to 8 degrees from the day before.

On

Tuesday it will continue to rain

in a good part of the country, even in the Mediterranean, although in a more "weak and scattered" way, in general, and more pronounced in

Galicia and eastern Andalusia

;

temperatures will be somewhat cooler in the interior of the peninsula and in the eastern half.

For

Wednesday and Holy Thursday

there will be some rest of instability with scattered rains with rains in the north and in the Mediterranean area, and on

Holy Friday and Holy Saturday

"everything points" to the predominance of a temperate environment, and even warm, and stable in most of the country, the spokesman concluded.
