China News Service, April 7th. According to the Chinese website of the United States, with the warmer weather and the arrival of the tourist season in Boston, the mayor of Boston announced to promote Boston's tourism industry to help small businesses recover the economy.

The project, called "All Inclusive Boston," aims to encourage tourists to visit Boston and raise awareness about Boston.

Tourism has historically been the third largest industry in Boston and Massachusetts.

In 2019, the Greater Boston area welcomed 19.9 million domestic and 2.9 million international visitors from the United States, according to the City of Boston.

In 2020, due to the new crown pneumonia epidemic, Boston's catering, entertainment, hotels and other related industries have been affected, and the occupancy rate of Boston hotels is only 14.3%.

The reduction in traffic and foot traffic has hit the restaurant industry particularly hard, with dining rates down 75% on weekdays and 63% on weekends.

The economic impact of this blow has been particularly severe on minority communities.

Through a combination of the federal American Rescue Program Act (ARPA) and the Boston Operating Fund, Boston has allocated $1.495 million for this year's tourism promotion and launched a 30-second promotional video that will be shown on multiple media platforms, the mayor of Boston said.
