As many citizens were found murdered near the capital of Ukraine and voices calling for Russia's responsibility spread further, the G7 = seven major countries issued a summit statement, slamming Russia and coming from Russia. We have announced that we will proceed with the ban on coal imports.
"The G7 leaders condemn the horrific atrocities of Russian troops in Bucha and other Ukrainian cities in the strongest terms," the leaders' statement said.
On top of that, it includes prohibiting new investment in major areas of Russia's economy such as energy, and further reducing energy dependence on Russia by banning coal imports from Russia.
