- We will distribute SEK 87 million to our electricity network customers who have consumed more than 700 kWh of electricity during the past three months.

In Linköping we pay out SEK 45 million to 15,100 households, in Katrineholm it is SEK 26 million to 7,100 households and in Mjölby 4,400 households receive a total of SEK 16 million, says Peter Ols who is vice president of the group's subsidiary Tekniska verken Linköping Nät AB in a press release.

The compensation is part of the government's support measure and is based on how much electricity the household has had each month in December, January and February - of which 2000 kWh per month is the highest level, which is compensated with SEK 2,000 per month.

Several households had to struggle in the bitter cold earlier this winter.

At the beginning of December, SVT visited Öst Kvarn in Motala municipality - when it was minus 20 degrees.
