Good evening,

the experts

are still not quite sure whether Eintracht's game against Barcelona on Thursday evening is the game of the year or even of the century - it's actually a bit early for the latter assessment in the 22nd year of the current century.

But it's supposed to be a big game, and if the Waldstadion were only bigger, Eintracht could have sold 250,000 tickets.

Colleague Marc Heinrich classifies the game, Daniel Schleidt looks back at other great Eintracht games in their long history.

Good for him

concerned with such peaceful things as a football game.

The war in Ukraine continues and looks set to overshadow the weekend in Frankfurt in a way of its own.

Because a pro-Russian demonstration with up to 500 cars has been announced, which immediately triggered several counter-demonstrations.

It's true that we keep reading that demonstrations in Germany have to be approved, but of course that's not the case in a free country.

They only have to be registered so that the authorities can deal with them, for example by regulating traffic.

As with every demonstration, the authorities also check whether there should be certain conditions.

Some even hope for a ban.

Reporting and commentary today in the Rhein-Main-Zeitung;

Completely different topic.

Frankfurt has a new museum!

One for electronic music, and you don't have to walk far to find it: It's on the B level of the Hauptwache, it couldn't be more central.

It's about remembering that Frankfurt was once at the forefront of techno.

well

On the other hand, why not?

And besides

, silkworms are the future trend in dog bowls when it comes to a company from Gießen +++ the Chinese choreographer Xie Xin is back at the Hessian State Ballet with a work commission +++ the Hessian Minister Priska Hinz officially opened the asparagus season on Wednesday.

I wish you a pleasant evening

Yours, Manfred Koehler

We are happy to pass on a tip from the Polytechnic Society Foundation in Frankfurt: You can test your spelling skills in a new quiz at www.deutschland-schreibt.de.

A text riddled with errors is waiting there until April 25th to be corrected.

A winner will be drawn from the best entries and there will be a small, spring-like surprise package up for grabs.

The link to the quiz is: https://www.deutschland-schreibt.de/training/quiz/.
