China News Service, April 6. According to Korean media reports, the Ministry of Planning and Finance of South Korea stated that the South Korean government held an interim state affairs meeting on the 6th and passed a proposal on the budget arrangement for the relocation of the presidential office.

The meeting decided to allocate 36 billion won (about 190 million yuan) from the budget stabilization fund for South Korean President-elect Yin Xiyue to implement the relocation plan.

On March 20, local time, South Korean President-elect Yoon Seok-wyeh held the first press conference after the establishment of the Presidential Handover Committee, and announced the "Blue House Presidential Office Relocation Plan".

Yin Xiyue announced that the Office of the President will be moved to the Ministry of Defense Building.

According to the report, the 36 billion won allocated includes 17.6 billion won for the Ministry of Administration and Security, 11.8 billion won for the Ministry of National Defense, and 6.6 billion won for the Presidential Guard.

South Korea's Ministry of Planning and Finance stated that after Yin Xiyue announced the relocation of the President's Office to Yongsan, in order to solve the security gap that may arise, the South Korean government and the Presidential Handover Committee conducted close consultations and reached an agreement on a phased relocation plan.

On the same day, an official from the Ministry of Defense of South Korea said that the ministry will immediately prepare to relocate, and will sign a contract with a moving company in the near future.

It was previously reported that Yin Xiyue announced on March 20 that the presidential office would be moved out of the Blue House and moved to the Ministry of National Defense Building in Yongsan District, Seoul.

This move not only aroused the concern of South Korean political parties, but also caused opposition from the South Korean people. Many people petitioned the Blue House, hoping to prevent the presidential office from being moved out of the Blue House.

At the same time, the cost of relocation has also raised questions.
