At 9:50 a.m. that day, the ceremony officially began, and everyone stood, beating drums and bells.

Children dressed in 56 ethnic costumes sang "Ode to the Yellow Emperor" to express the admiration of the descendants of Yan and Huang for Xuanyuan Huangdi, the ancestor of humanities.

After offering flower baskets and reciting the sacrificial texts, all the participants bowed three times to the statue of Emperor Xuanyuan.

The music and dance that followed were also ancient and modern, beautiful and elegant, reflecting the ritual norms of Chinese sacrificial civilization.

In the sound of music, a 56-meter giant dragon rose into the air, reproducing the legend of "Qiaoshan Longyu", symbolizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.

This year's ceremony was broadcast live on TV and multiple online platforms, and a public sacrifice ceremony was held simultaneously with the Taiwan Remote Festival video link.

On the online platform of "China Cloud Ancestor Sacrifice", the descendants of Yan and Huang who cannot visit the scene in person can "tour" Xuanyuan Huangdi Mausoleum, learn about the historical evolution and ritual process of the public sacrifice to the Yellow Emperor, and virtually experience candle lighting, flower offering, and hanging prayer cards in the hands of the Yellow Emperor. Zu Yicheng expresses the feelings of "heart fragrant and sacrifice Xuanyuan".

You Liqiu, executive vice president of the Xi'an Taiwan Association, who attended the ceremony, said: "Be careful to pursue the future, cherish the memory of our ancestors, and let us know our responsibilities as sons and daughters of the Chinese people. The two sides of the strait are one family, and we should forge ahead hand in hand."

Xuanyuan Huangdi is the first human ancestor of the Chinese nation, and the Mausoleum of Huangdi is the spiritual symbol of Chinese civilization.
