About forty drivers blocked one of the doors of the Rungis wholesale market (Val-de-Marne) between 5:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m., according to images released by the INV union, which launched the demonstration.

The union demands that the government put pressure on VTC platforms to increase and clarify prices, limit the number of registrants, and support the rise in fuel prices, according to a press release released on Tuesday.

He plans a new action Thursday morning in Paris, on the Place d'Italie.

In Bordeaux, a procession of 75 VTC blocked the bypass from 7 a.m., according to the prefecture.

They were "a hundred" according to the organizers, who count 1,600 drivers in Bordeaux, and also claim dedicated places in front of the station and the airport to pick up customers in complete safety.

In Nantes, around twenty VTC drivers launched a filtering operation on the ring road at 8 a.m., in particular on the two Loire bridges, Cheviré and Bellevue.

"We want to show that we are present. We are claiming the difficulty of our work. The VTC business has existed for 10 years, there are platforms that exploit us, 10-12 hours without having any follow-up behind, the increase in fuel, we have the impression of not being taken into account by the State", declared one of the organizers of the demonstration reached by telephone by AFP.

The organizers said they were "a little disappointed" with the low mobilization.

"We wanted something a little beefy. We are in our twenties while we are around 300 working in Nantes," added this co-organizer of the event.

"It's not common that we demonstrate, but with the increase in fuel, the truckers, the farmers, all had something, except the VTC".

After a wave of mobilization at the end of March, actions were also planned for Wednesday in Lyon and Toulouse.
