When refugee flows began to arrive in Sweden four to five weeks ago, Fagersta municipality was asked by the Swedish Migration Board to find emergency accommodation.

The choice then fell on Fagersta Camp, which is usually used as a training camp for young people.

- We were able to put everything in order quickly and turn it into an emergency refugee accommodation, says Kent Nilsson, head of the welfare and service department at Fagersta municipality.

However, no Ukrainian refugees have arrived at the accommodation and last week the Swedish Migration Agency sent out feedback to Fagersta municipality.

- In the report, they wrote that they did not see the need to keep Fagersta Camp as a temporary refugee accommodation, says Kent Nilsson.

The Ukrainian refugees have instead ended up in apartments around Fagersta.

In the clip, Kent answers what is happening with Fagersta Camp and whether it may be relevant as a refugee accommodation in the future
