"These young cadres grew up after the reform and opening up. Most of them have higher educational backgrounds, have a diverse and rich knowledge structure, and have a broader and more open vision and thinking." said Zhu Lijia, a professor at the Central Party School (National School of Administration).

Zhu Lijia said that in recent years, "post-70s" cadres have entered provincial and ministerial-level leadership positions, and "post-80s" cadres have entered department-level leadership positions. This is the natural law of the development of cadre echelons.

"These young cadres who are prosperous and strong are added to important leadership positions, which can make the age structure and knowledge structure of the local party and government leadership more scientific, which is conducive to the construction of cadre echelons, deepening reforms, and promoting the modernization of the country's governance system and governance capabilities."
