It is noted that the contract provides for the supply of Poland with 250 combat vehicles of the latest modification M1A2 SEPv3.
As part of the contract, Warsaw will also receive logistics and training packages, in particular, simulators for the tank crew.
According to the agency, the State Department and the US Congress have already given consent to the sale of tanks to Poland.
Earlier, Polish Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the National Security and Defense Committee Yaroslav Kaczynski said that Poland is ready to host US nuclear weapons.
