Some of the reserve funds required for the government to move the presidential office have been decided to be dealt with at the extraordinary cabinet meeting tomorrow (6th).

However, given the remaining days until the inauguration ceremony next month, it seems difficult to keep the promise of the elected president to start his term in the new office.

Reserve funds for the relocation of the presidential office, which was at the heart of the power conflict between the old and the new, the Blue House announced that it will handle the reserve fund agenda at an extraordinary cabinet meeting presided over by the Prime Minister tomorrow.

It is known that 36 billion won will be processed first out of the 49.6 billion won requested by the elected party.

An official from the Blue House explained, "This 36 billion won is the cost of emptying the Ministry of National Defense, and does not include the cost of moving the presidential office into the Ministry of National Defense."

It was confirmed that the cost of relocating the Joint Chiefs of Staff, which had raised controversy over the security gap, was also included in the 36 billion won.

However, it is reported that there is a condition that the relocation of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and the Ministry of National Defense will take place as long as there are no disruptions to the South Korea-U.S. joint exercises scheduled until the 28th.

The purpose of the office move-in fee is to either hold an additional temporary cabinet meeting after the ROK-US joint exercise or pass it on after the inauguration of President-elect Yoon Seok-yeol.

A key official on President-elect Yoon's side said that he would not cling to the remaining expenses within President Moon's term.

"As the processing of reserve funds was delayed compared to the original idea, it became difficult to realize the promise of President-elect Yoon to start work in the new office in Yongsan on May 10, the first day of his inauguration," he said.

President-elect Yoon is expected to use the current Tongui-dong Transition Committee office as his office for the time being after taking office.

The president-elect emphasized that the Blue House would be opened from the first day of the inauguration of President-elect Yoon in the section titled 'Relocation and opening of the Blue House', which was created separately on the website of the transition committee.
