An agreement but no reinstatement

The union had called for the store to be blocked on Monday April 4, 2022 in an attempt to "relaunch consultation and obtain justice for this worker".

He wanted her to be reinstated in the company.

An agreement has been reached between the store management and the employee, according to the unions and the regional management of the supermarket.

“However, the exact content of our agreement will not be communicated for the sake of confidentiality,” explained the spokesperson for Lidl in Belgium.

, the employee could not be reinstated.

The management would have agreed to withdraw the reason for “serious misconduct”.
