The four men charged with the murder at Notviken in Luleå were severely punished when a woman was shot to death with several shots - one at very close range.

In addition to the shooter, a 19-year-old and a 33-year-old were sentenced to six and twelve years in prison for aiding and abetting murder.

The only one who was not convicted according to what the prosecutors demanded was the "driver" who was instead sentenced to three years in prison for aggravated protection of a criminal.

- I have a great understanding of the district court's reasoning so I will not appeal myself, says prosecutor Jonas Fjellström.

A cold-blooded execution - must be cleared up

The day after the fatal shooting, Jonas Fjellström was linked to the case and the driver was suspected of involvement even then because the car that was found burning outside Boden could be linked to him.

The investigation became one of the largest in Norrbotten's history and Fjellström admits that early on there was a feeling that the case had to be solved.

- I have to admit that it was a bit like that.

A cold-blooded execution of a young woman in a public place where people are involved, of course you feel that it is an act that needs to be solved.
