Inland, the situation looks better now than a year ago.

On the other hand, the queues for the National Dental Service have grown longer in both Umeå and Skellefteå.

The reason is, among other things, large retirements and large staff turnover.

The National Dental Service does not yet know how the problem can be solved.

- There has never been such a long queue as today, says Anna-Maria Stenlund Berggren, head of dental care in the county.

Great concern for the future

At the same time, the county's population is increasing and Skellefteå's population is expected to increase by 15,000 people in a few years.

- It is a big concern for that.

We hope for a collaboration with the private actors to handle the new patients, but there is a risk that the gender will be up to 10 years in Skellefteå in a few years.
