The fourth dose is given at least four months after the third dose.

In the long run, it may be relevant to offer even more age groups a fourth dose, according to Minister of Social Affairs Lena Hallengren (S).
At a press conference today, she announced that the government will contribute SEK 1.2 billion to the spring amendment budget to carry out vaccinations.
- This means that we take into account whether even larger groups or the entire adult population would need a fourth dose.
We need preparedness for that, says Hallengren.
