Eight-kilometer-long military convoy on its way to Uppsala: "Keep your distance"

Around 15.30 on Monday, the military convoy is expected to pass Uppsala along the E4.

The large vehicles come from Eksjö garrison in northern Småland and are on their way to Marma shooting range for an annual exercise.

- There are large heavy vehicles, both trucks and trailers with machines on, many of them carry bridge parts to be used in the exercise, says Martina Gustavsson, communicator at Göta Engineering Regiment.

The column affects the traffic situation, even if the column may split.

The public is urged to keep their distance and take it easy.

- You must not break a military column, she says.
