According to Russian media reports, the accident happened at a bend near the village of Matrenino in the Volokolamsk district of the Moscow region.
According to witnesses, the bus suddenly started "shaking" while driving, then broke through the road barrier and fell from the overpass.
The Moscow State Emergency Situation Directorate reported that the accident occurred at around 10:00 local time on the 4th, when there were 20 people on the bus.
After the accident, multiple ambulances and helicopters arrived at the scene of the accident for rescue. The injured were sent to Volokolamsk District Hospital. At present, 2 people were seriously injured and 5 people were moderately injured.
Local authorities have launched an investigation into the accident.
Russian media quoted investigators as saying that preliminary findings showed that the accident was caused by driver error.
The bus driver was injured and is currently being treated by doctors.
