This is the 'Soho' building in Wangjing, an area where many Koreans live in Beijing.

Barricades hung around the building and security guards were deployed everywhere.

[Wangjing Soho Guard: I can't enter.

A case of positive for COVID-19 occurred after 10 pm last night.] The

sudden lockdown was due to the fact that six people, including an employee of a Korean clothing store in the building, and a person living with him, were infected with Corona 19.

Beijing's quarantine authorities have blocked the entrance to the Soho building from the dawn of today (4th) and started to close the residence of the confirmed person.

The day before, the city of Dalian, Liaoning Province, announced that a confirmed person had run a Korean imported clothing store, and that both inside and outside of the clothing packaging had tested positive for coronavirus.

Changsu, Jiangsu Province, said that four Korean T-shirts at the patient's house tested positive for Corona 19. He said it had to do with clothing.

Last month, the city of Shaoxing, Zhejiang Province, and others asked people who bought Korean clothes to be tested, and again pointed out Korean clothes as the source of corona infection.

The World Health Organization and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention consider the chances of getting infected with COVID-19 low by touching contaminated objects or packaging.

However, China continues to insist on transmission through frozen food and mail.

In the midst of this, the Hong Kong government has banned Korean Air flights from Incheon to Hong Kong for a week until the 10th.
