A Ukrainian tulip grower risked losing an annual income because the tulips he grew could not be sold in a war-torn country.

He sent out an emergency call - and the help came from a family-owned greenhouse in the Netherlands.

- A driver who had contact with him asked if we could help him sell the tulips.

We took three trucks and picked up around 750,000 tulip bulbs, says Luc van Saase, sales manager at Wesselman's flowers.

The tulip bulbs bloomed in the Netherlands and were then sold with the label "From Ukraine, for Ukraine" - see more in the video.
