According to an Air Force official, the flight recorder, DVAR of one trainer that crashed during the search for the site of the KT-1 crash accident in Sacheon, Gyeongsangnam-do was found yesterday.



This device is often called a 'black box' as it records the pilot's voice and the screen at the time of flight, such as communications made during the flight.



The flight recorder found belongs to one of two KT-1 trainers that crashed in mid-air.



The Air Force is closely analyzing the data recorded in the flight recorder collected from the field, while the work to collect the flight recorder of another training aircraft is still ongoing at the site.



According to the collection of the flight recorder, it is expected that the investigation of the accident will speed up, such as why the two trainers collided in the air.



Earlier, at 1:32 pm on the 1st, two KT-1 trainers collided in the air during flight training at the Air Force's 3rd Training Wing in Sacheon, Gyeongnam, killing all four people on board.
