Dr. Muhammad Ateeq Al-Falahi, Secretary-General of the Emirates Red Crescent Authority, said that this initiative comes within the humanitarian and development efforts undertaken by the UAE to improve life and alleviate suffering on the Yemeni arena, meet the needs of the brothers in Yemen during the holy month of Ramadan, and enhance areas of food security, in light of the circumstances. current in Yemen.
He added that the authority was keen to provide the requirements of Ramadan, and to deliver them to the targets in their areas of residence in the concerned governorates in sufficient time before the holy month, noting that this aid contributes to bridging the food gap witnessed by a number of Yemeni governorates, and meeting the needs of the population there of necessary foodstuffs.
