Compared with the same period last year, the number of fires, injuries and losses decreased by 11.6%, 8.5% and 20.5% respectively, and the death toll increased by 4.9%; among them, there were 29 major fires, an increase of 6 from the same period last year.

  From the perspective of regional distribution, rural fires account for a large proportion.

The Fire Rescue Bureau received reports of 124,000 fires in rural areas, accounting for 56.7% of the total number of fires. It is still a fire-prone area, of which 39.3% are in rural areas and 17.4% in market towns; 85,000 fires in urban areas are reported, accounting for 38.8%. Among them, urban areas accounted for 22.7%, county and urban areas accounted for 16.1%; fires in other areas accounted for 3.4%.

  From the point of view of the fire place, the residential place is more prominent.

A total of 83,000 residential fires were reported, resulting in a total of 503 deaths. Although the number of fires accounted for 38% of the total number of fires, the death toll accounted for 80.5% of the total; among them, 21 were larger fires, accounting for 72.4% of the total number of larger fires. %.

  From the perspective of vehicle fires, new energy vehicles have increased significantly.

A total of 19,000 fires of various types of vehicles were reported, an increase of 8.8% year-on-year; among them, 640 new energy vehicle fires, a year-on-year increase of 32%; electric bicycle fires 3777, a year-on-year increase of 35.9%, all higher than the average of vehicle fires increase.

  Judging from the cause of the fire, the use of fire and electricity accounted for more than half.

Fires caused by electricity accounted for 28.3% of the total, and 23.5% were caused by careless use of fire; in addition, 15.3% were left behind fire, 11.5% were smoking, and 21.4% were spontaneous combustion and playing with fire.

Of the 29 major fires, 10 were electrical, 6 were accidentally used, 4 were suspected of arson, 2 were production operations, 2 were leftover fires, and 5 were still under investigation.

  According to statistics, the national fire rescue forces received reports and handled 422,000 various types of police situations, dispatched 5.131 million fire rescue personnel and 910,000 fire trucks, rescued 27,750 trapped people from the disaster scene, and evacuated 57,800 people in distress.
