According to reports, previously on March 2, the U.S. military announced for the first time that it would postpone the test launch of the "Minuteman 3" to avoid an escalation of nuclear tensions with Russia.

Air Force spokeswoman Ann Stefanek said the test was canceled for the same reasons it was initially delayed.

The next test firing is planned for later this year.
