With the start of the series "Donya Tania" on Al-Nahar TV, the Supreme Council for Media Regulation in Egypt issued a decision to stop showing the first episode of it.

Objection of the head of supervision

The statement stated that the Supreme Council for Media Regulation decided to stop the first episode of “A second world” after it was broadcast by fraud, and the episode that obtained a permit, from which scenes related to “incest” were deleted, was not broadcast, after a complaint from the head of the censorship of works. Artist Khaled Abdel Jalil, who indicated that the episode was already monitored, but Al-Nahar channel broadcast the episode that includes the scenes that were deleted.

In the statement, the Supreme Council stressed to all channels that have the right to show, not to broadcast any work that does not have a license to show.

The council added that it will not hesitate to apply the standards included in the announced "media code", and that it will apply the texts contained in its law in the event of a violation that ranges from stopping the broadcasting to withdrawing the license of the channel itself if it persists in violations.

Betrayal from the first episode

In the episode, the heroine, Laila Elwi, who embodies the character of Donia, appears as she discovers her husband's relationship with her sister.

Donia works as an international school director. She is married to Badr, presented by actor Firas Saeed, and mother of two sons. However, her life collapses after the death of her son drowning in a swimming pool, and her second son lost his speech after his brother's accident, and decided to file a divorce case against her husband.
