The system would be ready in 2022. But that did not happen.

The costs for Millennium, as the journal system is called, have skyrocketed.

In February, the region of Cerner therefore accused of breach of contract and demanded at least half a billion kronor back.

"Seeking conflict"

Cerner now responds to the demand and says that they do not intend to pay and that the delays are due to the pandemic and to the region itself.

"VGR seeks conflict instead of solutions," writes Cerner.

In a written comment to P4 Väst, the regional director Ann-Sofi Lodin writes that they obviously have different pictures of the situation and that they will now go through Cerner's answer and see what it means.
