Nadhja fled with her son - now she is looking for a job in Sweden

On February 24, Russia began its invasion of Ukraine, the same day Nadhja decided to flee to Poland.

But to continue to Sweden was not a matter of course.

- It is a completely new life very far from home, she says about the tough decision.

Every night, her 2-year-old son Damien asks about his books that are still in Ukraine.

- It is very difficult to explain to him in a hopeful way: "It is not possible.

But we will get new books here, which you will like. ”

Nadhja is now trying to build a new life in Sweden and has therefore started looking for jobs at aid organizations that provide assistance to Ukraine.

- I know that I need a job to earn my living and become part of the ordinary society here.
