Empty school premises outside Kyiv: "How should we teachers be able to explain this to our students?"

SVT visits an elementary school outside Kyiv that now completely lacks students.

- We want the students to return to school so that we can teach that this is a huge disaster, and that the whole world should know about this, says Julija Labzun.

While the school premises are empty of students, the high school teacher Tatijana is conducting language teaching in Ukrainian - from home.

- I have always had a close contact with my students.

I do the best I can, she tells SVT.
