Expo 2020 Dubai presented its closing ceremony in the form of a legend through which it tells history, and completes its 182-day journey of creative work based on the latest technology, and on the authenticity of a country that celebrates its heritage and celebrated its golden jubilee amid the activities of the largest international event of its kind.

The closing ceremony brought together a constellation of the world's brightest stars, and was broadcast live on 20 giant screens distributed throughout the Expo Dubai site.

After the international event has already hosted more than 30,000 shows in 96 different venues of its vast location, including 3,000 shows in Al Wasl Square, and more than 500 shows for children and families, the stars of its closing ceremony agreed that, with its global platforms, a special and unique event.

The legendary pop singer, Christina Aguilera, who attended a wonderful performance on the stage of the jubilee, on the closing night of the international exhibition: “The last time I performed in the UAE was in 2008, and I am happy to be back and participate in the end of (Expo Dubai).

It is an honor for me to sing on this world stage.

What I saw in him is unbelievable.

It is very special to be a part of this diverse, inclusive and multicultural event.”

The American star added: “I love innovation, creativity and re-imagining, and I applied this to everything, from my songs to my performance.

It is great that my fans appreciate it, it inspires me to keep coming up with new ideas.”

Grammy Award-winning cellist Yo-Yo Ma, who performed at the Dubai Millennium Theatre, said: “Since my childhood, I have been deeply moved and inspired by our great cultural encounters.

It is a great honor to be a small link in this chain of exchange, to celebrate all that we can achieve when we remember that culture is necessary to envision a better future.”

For her part, the famous German Grammy-winning singer, Nora Jones, said: "The closing ceremony is very special and I am very honored to be a part of it."
