The judge cites Montero's 'new nanny' and explains that if he received from Congress he must declare as a defendant

The judge investigating the

has summoned a former Podemos press officer to testify, whom the minister's former escort pointed out as the person who often took care of the children of Montero and Pablo Iglesias.

This follows from the resolution notified this Thursday by the Madrid judge

: "It is agreed to take a statement from said person identified as Gara, and that the popular accusation [Vox] proponent of said evidence identifies as Gara Santana. As for The condition that she will hold in said declaration will depend on the origin of her emoluments, as to whether in the exercise of the aforementioned position she was paid by the Podemos political party or by the Congress of Deputies.

The judge also accepts another procedure proposed by Vox.

He asks Montero's former escort, Elena González Jiménez, to provide the court with a copy of the Telegram chats "in which she received instructions, relating solely and exclusively to the task of picking up the aforementioned person identified as Gara."

In her appearance before the judge as a witness, the former escort indicated that on numerous occasions she herself drove Montero's press officer to her home in

to take care of the children.

Santana herself complained to her about having to do these tasks, according to the witness.

Until the escort's statement, the babysitting tasks had focused on

, a former deputy for Podemos and Montero's advisor on Equality.

The judge questioned her and she denied having provided that service beyond having once held any of the children in her arms.
