Poll: About 80% of Russians express confidence in Putin

An opinion poll showed that the majority of Russian citizens (79%) evaluate positively the performance of Russian President Vladimir Putin, and 77% of the respondents expressed their confidence in him.

According to the Russian "Novosti" agency, an opinion poll conducted by the "Community Opinion" Foundation revealed that the answer of 79% of the participants to a question about whether the president is doing well or badly in his position, was positive, while 9% answered that it was "bad to Somewhat”, and 12% found it difficult to answer.

In response to the question "Do you trust or not trust Putin", 77% of the respondents said they trust, 13% do not, and 10% find it difficult to answer.
