• Courts The judge asks the TSJ to charge Mónica Oltra in the case of the abuse of her ex-husband

The judicial siege on

Mónica Oltra

is tightening more and more.

However, the Valencian vice president has flatly rejected this Friday to resign from her, after the judge has requested for the first time her

imputation of her for the case of the abuses of her ex-husband

of her to a minor protected by the Generalitat.

She has done it to the Superior Court of Justice of the Valencian Community, since the leader of Compromís is qualified by her.

"Decency and the ethical line are not set by the courts," Oltra herself expressed hours after hearing the news.

"I have no reason to resign

," he insisted.

In Oltra's words, "all the people who have paraded through the court have made it clear that there have been no orders or instructions or anything other than letting them work freely and professionally."

In the case investigated by the investigating court number 15 of Valencia there are a total of 13 defendants, including officials and positions of the Ministry of Equality and Inclusive Policies directed by Oltra.

The investigation focuses on who ordered the opening of an information file in the Ministry that ended up discrediting the victim, in addition to a judicial investigation.

According to the magistrate, since the minor manifested her abuse for the first time in February 2017, "

at no time was there a certain will to clarify the

criminally relevant facts repeatedly exposed by the girl and attributed to Mónica Oltra's husband".

Even so, for Oltra his possible imputation "falls within the normality of a conscientious investigative work."

In this sense, he has assumed that in the "pyramid" of people linked to the Ministry who participated in the management of this case "I am missing".

Of course, he has denied having participated in an alleged cover-up of the abuses of the educator, sentenced to five years in prison: "I flatly deny it. This is a complaint by Vox and Spain 2000, which are the extreme right, and this trail is pointed out the PP".

Oltra is the number 2 of the Valencian Government that presides over the socialist

Ximo Puig

.

The president of the Generalitat has expressed this Friday his "respect" for the judicial decisions, although he has recalled that "many times issues have come to the TSJ that have not gone further".

In other words, he has insinuated that all this could come to nothing if the TSJ finally refuses to charge Oltra.

Asked if he is concerned about the stability of the Valencian Executive, his response was clear: "Not at all."

Puig himself had already shown in parliament his "trust" in Oltra and in the officials.

The

closing of ranks on the left

, therefore, does not break for the moment, just over a year before the regional and municipal elections.
