China National Environmental Monitoring Station, in conjunction with the Central Meteorological Observatory, the National Air Pollution Prevention and Control Center, the Northeast, South China, Southwest, Northwest, Yangtze River Delta Regional Air Quality Prediction and Forecast Center and the Beijing Ecological Environment Monitoring Center, launched the first half of April 2022 (1st —15th) National Air Quality Forecast Conference.
The results of the consultation showed that in the first half of April, most of the country had good diffusion conditions, and the air quality was mainly good, and there may be a process of mild pollution locally.
Among them, some parts of the east, southwest and northwest regions may experience moderate pollution processes, and the southern Xinjiang region may experience moderate to severe pollution processes due to the influence of sand and dust weather.
In the first half of April, most of the air quality in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei and surrounding areas was mainly good.
Among them, from the 1st to the 8th, the local light pollution process may occur, and the primary pollutants are fine particulate matter (PM2.5) or inhalable particulate matter (PM10).
During the same period, most of the air quality in Jiangsu, Anhui, Shandong and Henan regions was dominated by good to light pollution, and the primary pollutants were PM2.5 or ozone (O3).
The results of the consultation showed that in the first half of April, the air quality in most of the northwest region was mainly good.
Among them, from the 2nd to the 5th, a mild pollution process may occur locally, and a moderate to severe pollution process may occur in the southern Xinjiang region affected by the dust weather.
