Bolinder says that the municipality has intensified the work on how home care staff should move in the areas that have been particularly exposed to shootings.

The municipality is aware of which addresses the staff should pay extra attention to.

According to the municipality, no one in the staff was seriously injured.

- We make a large gathering of forces where the municipality in collaboration with the police assesses risk and takes in all the information we can to get as good a basis as possible, says Andreas Bolinder.

Anxiety after shootings

After the unrest in Eskilstuna, many in the home care service have contacted the union.

- It is an increased concern and we naturally take it very seriously, says Jasmine Berglund, chairman of Kommunal's section north.

Eskilstuna-Kuriren was the first to report on the incident.
