A 31-year-old woman appeared before the criminal court of Meaux (Seine-et-Marne), this Wednesday, for having illegally exercised the activity of doctor for nearly four years, reports

Unemployed for two years, this holder of a BTS in property management had decided to create false documents in 2018, after coming across an offer of a job as an occupational doctor in Champs-sur-Marne where she was finally hired.

At the time, the young woman was however wearing an electronic bracelet because of previous convictions for, in particular, acts of breach of trust.

Three years in prison

"Caught in a gear", in her words, the fraudster was unmasked and then fired in October 2021. This did not prevent her, three months later, from stealing the identity of two ophthalmologists in order to carry out holidays.

According to investigators, these fraudulent activities allowed him to declare 70,000 euros in annual income.

The defendant was sentenced to three years in prison, two of which are firm, with a warrant of committal.
