A dog attack occurred this Monday morning in Bonneuil-sur-Marne (Val-de-Marne).

One person was injured and a dog was killed, reports

The deceased dog was on a leash at the time of the attack.

The two pit bulls responsible were on the loose.

They were apprehended and then impounded.

Rules to follow

Following this attack, the municipality of Bonneuil-sur-Marne insisted on recalling the legislation surrounding the detention and the conditions of circulation of dangerous dogs.

Among these rules, the access of dogs of the 1st category to public transport and certain public places is prohibited.

In addition, dogs of the 1st and 2nd category must be muzzled in certain situations.
