On March 31, local time, Turkish Foreign Minister Cavusoglu said in response to reporters that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will continue to communicate with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Zelens.

If an agreement is reached on all issues, the leaders of Russia and Ukraine will meet.

On March 29, local time, the Russian-Ukrainian delegation held the fifth round of negotiations in the Istanbul Office of the Turkish Presidential Palace.

The Russian side promised to significantly reduce its military operations in the Ukrainian capital Kyiv and Chernihiv, and the Ukrainian side proposed to establish a neutral position under the international security guarantee.

According to the analysis, both parties in this round of negotiations have made certain compromises and concessions, releasing a positive will to resolve conflicts through dialogue, but there are still major differences on some key issues, and the two sides are still far from reaching a peace agreement.

Cavusoglu previously said that "more difficult problems will be solved at a higher level".

If both sides agree, a meeting between the Russian and Ukrainian foreign ministers is possible within a week or two. If a common understanding is finally formed, a meeting between the presidents of the two countries will be put on the agenda.
