The World Humanitarian Summit 2022 kicked off yesterday at the Dubai Exhibition Center for Expo 2020 Dubai.
Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, Commissioner-General of Expo 2020 Dubai, stressed that "the summit slogan is building a strong human society for a better world, which requires all of us to join hands and think together as one human family."
He added, "When I talk about (one human family), I would like to emphasize my great belief in the power of humanitarian cooperation to shape the future and contribute to solving many major global challenges."
He added: "(Expo 2020 Dubai) is the ideal place for such discussions, as this global event demonstrated our need for more understanding and dialogue to solve various global problems and challenges."
The summit agenda was filled with activities, as it hosted a series of discussion sessions and dialogues, which included the participation of the International City for Humanitarian Services, which presented the Dubai model, which represents the largest humanitarian center in the world.
