The

Investigating Court number 4 of Móstoles

has opened an investigation against an educational center in

Boadilla del Monte

for an

alleged crime of torture and against moral integrity

.

The complaint that has motivated these proceedings was due to the expulsion of three siblings (a seven-year-old girl and a five-year-old boy and a girl) with manners denounced as "cruel".

"Because of the behavior of a brother, they fired all three," summarizes his father,

Miguel Saugar,

what happened to his three young children last year at the private

Saint Michael's School.

According to the complaint directed by the professor of

Criminal Law at the UCM Manuel Quintanar,

the brother had a conflictive behavior at school, and one day

the center decided to expel him along with his two sisters.

The complaint says that after a tense meeting with the parents, the school principal expelled the girls

in front of all

her classmates, and "had the cruelty to inform them that

her brother is 'dangerous' and a 'bad person'

and that they are afraid that the police may come for their brother, so they are expelled from the center".

The judge's order issued on

March 11,

to which this newspaper has had access, admits the complaint for processing and explains that "the facts that result from the previous actions

present characteristics that suggest the possible existence of crime/s

of Torture and others crimes against moral integrity".

The judge's car

After those events, the parents did not believe that their daughters could also be expelled, as Saugar recalls.

However,

the school route no longer passed

by her house.

The following two days, in February 2021, Miguel denounced these events on

Telemadrid.

The child has a

psychological problem,

explains the complaint, and the center "instead of helping him evolve," expelled the entire family.

The worst part, says the father, has been suffered by the girls, whose behavior at school was totally normal,

they were integrated with their classmates and got good grades.

"The minors have suffered, so to speak,

apartheid,

with the excuse of the alleged behavior of their brother, and this fact has led

to serious consequences for the development of the personality and impairment of the rights of the minors.

Their current psychological evolution , as well as their school progression, have been hampered by the humiliation that segregating them from the group in public entails," adds the complaint.

The Saint Michael's School, in a conversation of this newspaper with its director, explained that he prefers "neither confirm nor deny" anything that happened.

He added that "when dealing with minors", he prefers not to talk about the subject, and explained that the center has already responded to the court regarding the information that has been required of them.

The father, for his part, says that "one of the worst things is that the school wants to say that they are there to help children with problems, but

in the case of my son they did not.

If in that center they could not help him, they should have told us how we could do it, where we could have taken him. But

instead of that they expelled him and his sisters,

who do not understand anything of what has happened and it has caused them a great trauma".

The school delivered a letter to the parents that is discussed in the complaint.

That letter explains that the boy

constantly hit

his classmates and refused to speak English (the school is British), among other adaptation problems, so

he could not continue being a student

at the center.

That letter includes a strange

postscript

that says that it has been the parents themselves who have decided to take their daughters out of school, but the complaint states that it is false that this was the case, and that it would not make sense to put it in a letter if it had happened that way. .
