Éric Zemmour and Marine Le Pen exchanged via camera, on the sidelines of a meeting with farmers on Wednesday in Besançon.

The former journalist from Le Figaro described the electorate of his competitor as "workers and small employees", judging that it would be difficult to create a rally of the rights.

The RN candidate denounced a "class contempt".

Exchanges of courtesies by interposed cameras between Éric Zemmour and Marine Le Pen.

Wednesday in Besançon, the RN candidate accused her competitor of Reconquest!

of "class contempt" after he saw as a handicap that the electorate of the RN candidate is made up of "workers and small employees", compared to his, which is more mixed and therefore according to him more able to do union of rights.

A few hours later, Éric Zemmour reacted to Marine Le Pen's charge.

He defended himself from making class contempt.

"A woman who grew up in mansions is not going to lecture me," he replied.

He then cited his personal example, the child having grown up in the suburbs in a modest environment, before ending with: “As her father said, she is a bourgeoise”.

Manage the support of Éric Zemmour in the second round

This last pass of arms is quite revealing.

Marine Le Pen seems determined to leave nothing to the candidate Reconquest!.

In the candidate's entourage, there is even an Éric Zemmour subject, to the point that some RN strategists are wondering how to manage support from the former journalist in the second round of the presidential election.

If they admit that this support is necessary to hope to win, Éric Zemmour, perceived as too radical, would he not destroy part of the standardization work carried out by the party to the flame?

Or should this support be minimized?

In any case, Emmanuel Macron understood the potential of this situation.

The outgoing president speaks of a Zemmour-Le Pen tandem to try to re-demonize the MP for Pas-de-Calais.
