An investigation was opened after the tragedy by the Paris prosecutor's office for "murder" and entrusted to the criminal brigade.

Two other people have already been indicted in this case and remanded in custody.

Romain Bouvier, a relative of Loïk Le Priol, also suspected of having shot the former rugby player, was indicted for "murder" and two offenses related to the possession of weapons.

Aged 31, this ultra-right figure was arrested three days after the events in Sablé-sur-Sarthe (Sarthe) by the Nantes Research and Intervention Brigade (BRI).
