Fredrik Larsson (M) and Ulric Andersson (S) answer on how Värmland should meet the care guarantee

The Värmland region has become worse and worse at meeting the care guarantee.

When it comes to queues, waiting times and access to care between 2016 and 2020, Region Värmland is the third worst in Sweden.

Only Region Jämtland Härjedalen and Västernorrland are worse.

SVT Nyheter Värmland reported this yesterday.

- Unfortunately, we have not succeeded, admitted the chairman of the regional board, Fredrik Larsson, for SVT.

Personnel issue most important

What is most important to better manage the care guarantee?

Both the Moderates and the Social Democrats' representatives put the personnel issue first.

- Employees are our most important resource.

Supporting them in the fantastic work they do to increase accessibility, says Fredrik Larsson is a priority.

- Make sure that our employees have good conditions to work in the business and also stay in the business, that is the high priority part, says Ulric Andersson.
