In 1884, the young poet Oscar Wilde (1854-1900) married the feminist journalist Constance LLoyd (1858-1898).

The newlyweds, each as attractive as the other, enamored of art, culture and fashion, lead a worldly and intellectual life as rich as it is egalitarian.

But after the birth of their two sons, Oscar abandons Constance in favor of his lovers... Soon, the lawsuit brought against him results in the bankruptcy of the spouses.

Clémentine Portier-Kaltenbach tells you about the forgotten destiny of a combative and passionate woman, who is fully committed to freeing women from the shackles of the Victorian era.
