“There are so many reasons why the Valborg celebration is an important tradition.
Community and togetherness are created through meetings and right now we need to meet each other, see each other for real, ”writes Anna-Karin Andershed, Vice-Chancellor at Örebro University.
The program includes music by Örebro student singers, the Academy of Music and the Salvation Army's music corps under the direction of Fredrik Berglund.
Governor Maria Larsson, who will give the spring speech, is also looking forward to celebrating spring together with the Örebro people.
"In these troubled times, it feels so good that we in our country and in our county can meet in peace and freedom and celebrate both our democracy and the arrival of spring," she says.
