Politicians at all levels within the Center Party participated in the survey, which is the basis for the internal report carried out by consultants.

In the autumn, the original report was presented to the party board, which then began to discuss whether the entire content should be published to the public.

At a party meeting shortly afterwards, a demand was passed that the report should be presented in its entirety, according to Elin Larsson, vice chairman of Center Students 2017 to 2019.

- But they still chose not to do it.

It is not good, she tells Aftonbladet.

It was thus finally decided to write a more "summary" version in which several essential parts were omitted.

Dark serious information

According to several sources within the party, the internal board must have washed and smoothed over testimonies of serious problems and accusations in the new version.

Parts from the original, which Aftonbladet has read, which present conclusions about the culture of silence and what is described as "repression of ideas" have been removed.

Observations that personal knowledge is valued higher than knowledge at employment were also deleted.

In the section on more general work environment issues, the open report reports how several within the party experience insecurity and discomfort due to the practice of domineering techniques, unpleasant jargon and in some cases sexual harassment.

However, the original report shows more serious allegations:

"... even attempted rape was reported to occur / have occurred."

The party secretary's answer to speech

The fact that there was a discussion in the party board that ultimately led to the release of a "summarized" version is not something the party secretary Michael Artursson denies.

On the other hand, he says that they did not omit anything specific.

- There is a fairly extensive material that is a working material that includes many different parts.

Then we produced a report that the party board supported, which is a summary of the important conclusions, he says to Aftonbladet.

After the newspaper drew attention to and confronted the Center Party with the information, the party has replaced the report that was on their website and claims that the wrong version has been out since Thursday.

In the latest version, however, several of the mentioned original parts are still missing.
